No Fear in Love

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Have you been afraid of people? Afraid of sharing your faith? Afraid of what people will think? Have you ever wanted to pray for healing, and thought to yourself, “what if nothing happens?” Why does it seem that even after our most awesome sermons and efforts, we still shy away from living the extraordinary and supernatural life that God has intended for us?

Many of know about God, but not many of us know God. If we did, His love would motivate our hearts. I understand that we are in different situations in our lives and in our relationship with God. I’m not saying you aren’t saved. I am saying that the level to which you love people is an evidence of your relationship with God.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭4:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Evangelism is not about sharing your faith! It’s not about healing! It’s not about sharing the gospel! Evangelism is not proving your point! Evangelism is not getting someone to pray a sinner’s prayer. Evangelism is love. It is the natural response to God pouring His love into our hearts. (See Romans 5:5)

Here is my favorite phrase for Evangelism; love with no strings attached.

It’s absolutely foreign and otherworldly to love someone in this way. People don’t do it, experience it, or know about it. It is divine and it is from God. You see, God is love, and when we know His love, (not just talk about it) we automatically desire to give it away.

Have you ever been in public, and you get a thought to go over and pray for someone? Or talk to them about Jesus, and then afterward, you decide not to because you feel weird or afraid? That’s the love of God in your heart! If you yield to Him, you will experience His love flowing from you to other people. It makes prophecy not prophecy anymore, but God telling you things from His heart. It makes healing not healing anymore, but God’s love touching people’s bodies.

Listen to me, all of us believers are anointed. I could brag all day about my friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ. They are amazing. I love what God does through them. I am in awe, but we are all different. God has something He wants to do through you that is different than what He does through someone else. Don’t compare yourself to them. Encourage each other! We’re running this race together! People everywhere are dying and you don’t need a microphone in order to speak to them. Let your life preach for you and God will convict them.

Seeking God’s will first because we love Him, will bring the kingdom to earth, and many to salvation. I love this so much. I love Jesus so much. He changed my life. He saved me from me. Now He can get more people into the kingdom through me. I love you Lord.

Be blessed!
