I’m so excited that I get to be a part of the ministry of Jesus. When I think about what He is doing all across the earth, I’m so thankful that I get to play a really small part. You know, we really aren’t that involved. He is way more into this thing than we are. All He wants is our yes. If we say yes to the call, yes to Jesus, we will see a huge harvest of souls.
Souls don’t just get saved by hearing the gospel. (Don’t hear me wrong. They NEED to hear the good news) The love that we show them is the most important. Seriously, without love, we have nothing. All of the gifts of the Holy Spirit flow from love. I watch it happen time and again. When I honestly stop and care for the person that’s in front of me, God speaks. He is behind everything we do with love.
It was so fun to go to KarmaFest yesterday on 5/19. We have some of the crew there today on 5/20. We saw a good number of people saved, many healed, and some delivered from demons. The thing that really hit the people we ministered to was the authentic love we showed them. We gave them “spiritual readings” which was essentially prophetic words from the Lord. Everything we did was free, and people were shocked at the accuracy of the words. It really opened their hearts like ripe pumpkins. (as John Wimber would say) The last girl we ministered to told us “I’ve never met anyone like you guys, you’re so amazing.” And we gave all the glory to God. She was delivered of demons, and she gave her life to Jesus. It was so beautiful.
What really stood out to me when I left KarmaFest was how uninvolved I felt. Like I just walked up to people and cared about them and the Lord did the rest. There was SO much fruit with so little effort. Isn’t that what Jesus wants?
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5 NKJV
Also, I loved being with my brothers and sisters in Christ. It really felt like a family. Like, we worked together and cooperated to see the Kingdom of God come down at this occult festival. I feel a greater bond with my family in Christ and with Jesus Himself.
We didn’t just wait for the people to come to us. We went to them. This was a rescue operation. There were so many searching people, desperate for something real. Jesus would stop for them. He would have been at this kind of place. He would not fear the devil, and neither should we. He went to the dark places. That’s where the light shines brightest.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38 KJV
Just love them. That’s all we have to do. Go about doing good, and heal everyone in the name of Jesus.
I hope this encouraged you and provoked you!
Be blessed.
